LEAVE OF ABSENCE Press Release
After a brief hiatus from recording to tour internationally, Supastition returns with his Khrysis-produced single, Word Has It, from his upcoming digital EP entitled "Leave of Absence" (Reform School Music). "Word Has It" has already been buzzing on major stations such as Hot 97 in NYC (Real Late w/ Peter Rosenberg) and Charlotte's own Power 98 WPEG as well as numerous national college radio stations. Supa's upcoming "Leave of Absence" is slated for a September release date and has received the stamp of approval from some established names in the industry. Instead of working with the usual producers and artists featured on his previous releases, Supa opts to work with a different team of talent this time around. Production on the EP is handled by Khrysis (HOJ), D.R. (Little Brother/The Others), Marco Polo (Masta Ace, Kool G Rap), Madwreck (The Others/Supastition), and and a few others. Guests appearances include Torae, Finale, and Dan Johns. The project will later see a limited edition CD release as in addition to Supastition t-shirts, 7" vinyl for 'Worst Enemy", and a free mixtape.
